He specialized in injectables in 2011 (<a href=\"https:\/\/medischlasercentrum.nl\/en\/treatment\/botox\/\" data-type=\"behandeling\" data-id=\"1519\">Botox<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/medischlasercentrum.nl\/en\/treatment\/fillers\/\" data-type=\"behandeling\" data-id=\"1643\">fillers<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a cosmetic doctor KNMG, he practices non-cutting cosmetic medicine. The aim is to keep ageing skin healthy. Thus, he treats skin problems and skin ageing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From his passion for helping people, he then went on to specialise in filler safety. He also obtained a PhD in this in 2021. This is what he lectures on every year, at international conferences.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Decates is still doing research on filler safety at the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, where he also treats international complications of other doctors.
