Tom Decates has a great passion for personal and honest treatments in cosmetic care. He specialized in injectables in 2011 (Botox and fillers).
As a cosmetic doctor KNMG, he practices non-cutting cosmetic medicine. The aim is to keep ageing skin healthy. Thus, he treats skin problems and skin ageing.
From his passion for helping people, he then went on to specialise in filler safety. He also obtained a PhD in this in 2021. This is what he lectures on every year, at international conferences.
Dr. Decates is still doing research on filler safety at the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, where he also treats international complications of other doctors. For that reason, Dr. Decates is at the center of the latest developments when it comes to safety and complications of injectables.
